A women is deep in thought. Thinking of the days of happiness and free from worries. All that freedom was lost in about a day. So much pressure of finding her way back to joy and starting a new life. Going through memories and thinking of the blessings she once had, and know are lost. Lost in time, lost in thought, lost in The Great Depression.
Not playing, but reading. Deep in the books, some of their only possessions they have. Their lives changing from day to day and their child-life is quickly fading. Responsibilities are rising and days of play are over. Being a child in the Great Depression, is short. As they quickly move on into adulthood.
